Naw in fact I’m floating up
High and reaching for the skies now
When I look down I see no regrets
Just another part of my life
Left to fill up another chapter in my life story
Words don’t compare to the happiness I feel now
Not saying that I wasn’t happy when it came to you
It’s just that when I get hurt I measure how deep it cuts
And man….you cut deep to my heart
Once my wound begun to heal
My vision become more clear
Revealing the repairer of my wounds
This surgeon didn’t question why the wounds had surfaced
Just dove right in and wrapped my heart in their palm
And that alone…has captured me
Leading me down another road
Hoping, wishing, and praying for a happy ending
Guess I finally made it to the final chapter of my life
