Cry

Sometimes I just have to release my tears
Because it's hard to hold them in for years
I don't do it to get attention
I do it in order to avoid the repetition
Of going back to things that have hurt me
And have held me back from being me
I just lay there and them out
Letting them run from my eyes like a spout
I only let a few people that surround
Me see this side meaning I always want them to be around
And sometimes people ask me why
I just say I had to cry
